On the right hand side, you can see “Encrypt Backup” that you should select. Next to that, there is a “Password” block where you need to enter the password.

Now, you need to transfer the data to your new phone that you have just back up. To do this, just follow the simple steps below:

Connect your new iPhone to the computer using the data cable that was shipped with it.
Launch the iTunes application on your computer. Click the same phone icon that you can see in the menu bar.
There will be a “Restore from iTunes” option that you should click.
Now, choose the backup from the available list.
Because you encrypted the backup, while backing up, so now you need to enter the password here. Enter the password, and then finally hit the “Restore” button to start the restoration process.

The transfer time depends on the size of data to be restored. So, you need to be patient, while the transfer process is in progress. Once it is finished, just unplug your phone. You now have your old phone data back to your new device.

Transferring Data By ICloud Backup:

Backup Data:

To transfer data to your new phone, you should first go through the data backup process. Here are is how you can backup data on iCloud:

Launch the settings of your old iPhone. There, you can see the “iCloud” that you need to tap on.

Select the content that you want to backup, and then tap on the “Back Up Now” button to start the backup process.

When you see a message, like “backup complete” on your phone screen, then you should turn off your phone.

Transfer Data: Now, to transfer data on your iPhone, using iCloud, please do the following steps on your new phone:

Go to the setting of your new iPhone.
Tap on the “iCloud” option.
Provide your iCloud sign in details to sign in.
Now, tap the restore option that you can see there.
Choose the “recent backup” from the available list.
